This website is a little askew, but basically if you're coming from San Francisco to Boston - brace yourself. Boston is a wonderful town and full of arts and culture but you're going to have to look a little harder to find it. If you want to sidestep the culture shock you might want to settle in Jamaica Plain or possibly the South End. In terms of quality of life - you'll be hard pressed to beat "JP". Jamaica Plain has the most diversity of race, religion, lifestyle, etc. in the city. Moreover, we have exceptional public transportation options and the most green space and parks anywhere in the city.
